Responsible for managing, optimizing, and reporting on client digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills, knowledge of multiple digital advertising platforms, and an ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data. This person must be detail oriented, with a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced agency environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the following:
- Setting up ad campaigns from scratch in at least Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Managing client budgets across multiple marketing channels and staying on budget
- Running and optimizing multiple digital marketing campaigns for multiple clients at one time
- Setting up goal and conversion tracking in Google Tag Manager and Analytics
- Analyzing the success of the online campaigns against established KPIs
- Making recommendations for improvement to leadership based on real-time data analysis
- Evaluating and working with vendors to run (or direct experience running) native and content-acceleration campaigns
- SEO optimizing webpages, including UI and UX best practices
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing campaign strategies based on client budgets, goals, and target audience
- Keyword research for SEO and SEM
- Setting up and launching text, video, display, and social campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Running and optimizing campaigns against key KPIs
- Analyzing analytics data and campaign results to identify opportunities for improvement
- Providing data insights and recommendations to leadership based on campaign performance of evolving client needs
- Developing monthly, quarterly, year-over-year and/or end-of-campaign client reports
- Staying up-to-date on ever-changing industry best practices and digital marketing technologies
Requirements
In order to work effectively as a digital strategist, you must have a passion for all things digital marketing, a desire to work in a heavily data-driven environment, and experience working in the following platforms:
- Google Analytics or Analytics 360
- Google Ads (includes YouTube) or DoubleClick
- Facebook Business Manager
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Data Studio
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Google Drive, Basecamp, or a similar cloud-based platform (Preferred)
- SEMRush, Raven Tools, Moz, or a similar SEO optimization platform (Preferred)
Candidates must also have foundational knowledge of SEM, SEO, and social media marketing best practices, as well as understand the following forms of campaign measurement: CPM, View Rate, CPV, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, CPL, ROAS, SOV
A Google Analytics and at least 1 Google Ads certification are required. A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, digital media, communications, website design or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
