Crawford Welcomes Three Fall Interns

Crawford welcomes Savannah Fowler, Graham Chitty, and Megan Reineke as interns for the fall of 2022. Crawford offers year-round internship opportunities to college students and recent graduates, allowing them to learn from experienced professionals on a variety of topics related to marketing, social media, public relations and more.

“Our internship program is something that we take great pride in here at Crawford. It provides students and recent graduates with exposure to the marketing industry by giving them real-life experiences with well-versed mentors,” said Allison Mertens, senior vice president of corporate growth. “Not only is the experience beneficial to the interns, but to our team as well. We love having their fresh and innovative perspectives in the office, and we appreciate their enthusiasm to always learn more about the work we do.”

Crawford Intern Savannah FowlerContent intern Savannah Fowler works across the public relations, creative and social media departments this fall. Fowler recently graduated from the University of North Carolina Asheville where she majored in mass communication and minored in art history. Previously, she interned at FCB Global and with the fashion brand Collina Strada. In her free time, she illustrates books and creates paintings, while also writing for local magazines. During her internship, Fowler hopes to gain knowledge on all aspects of the agency with an emphasis on crafting creative content and writing from a marketing standpoint.

 

Crawford Intern Graham ChittyGraham Chitty, the accounts services intern, is a senior marketing major at Clemson University. During her time at Crawford, she assists in creative brief development and help execute marketing campaigns. In prior years, Chitty interned as an event coordinator in Charleston at a full-service event and design company. She remains involved in her sorority, Tri Delta, and assists in fostering puppies at the Greenville Humane Society. While at Crawford, she aims to better understand how to communicate with clients and glean experience in a marketing agency as it continues to further her career aspirations.

 

Crawford Intern Megan ReinekeAs the social intern, Megan Reineke assists the operations team with internal projects, collects the rights to user-generated content and conducts market research for both potential and existing clients. She is a senior at Clemson University where she majors in marketing and minors in psychology and political science. Reineke has previously worked with Clemson Computing & Information Technology as their marketing and communications intern. She has experience in multiple leadership and mentoring roles within the University and is on the sailing team. In her time at Crawford, she hopes to gain skills in social media as well as grow her confidence in marketing and professionalism as she prepares to enter the workforce post-graduation.
