New Name and Brand Celebrates Success

Crawford Strategy, a full-service strategic marketing agency based in Greenville, is excited to reveal that in celebration of its incredible growth and evolution during its first ten years in business, the company will be changing its name to Crawford. The team celebrates its first decade with a new logo, brand refresh, and new website to further give life to the company’s new name.

“Given that only one in three companies is still in business after ten years, I am humbled to have the opportunity to celebrate a decade of success. We are extremely fortunate to have clients who have, through the years, trusted us to help them achieve their goals,” said Marion Crawford, founder and CEO of Crawford. “Our success is also a testament to our ability to attract and retain tremendous talent. Our entire team shares a commitment to delivering quality and value for our clients every day, and that has been a key to our continued growth. Our new brand gives us an opportunity to build on the past ten years and position ourselves for continued success going forward.”

Named one of the 20 fastest-growing small businesses in South Carolina for 2020 by SC Biz News, Crawford has expanded to include more than 30 talented individuals, including writers, graphic and web designers, digital strategists, media planners, account managers, and PR professionals, among others. As a full-service agency, Crawford taps every available resource to provide superior digital, marketing, public relations, and creative support for its diverse client roster. Crawford clients range from a Fortune 500 manufacturing company to a nationally recognized regional bank, renowned tourism destinations, and top-ranked higher education institutions.

“As we’ve grown over the past decade, it’s becoming increasingly clear that no matter the task, our team is fully committed to our principle of doing what we say we will do, even when that might require a little extra courage,” said Andy Windham, president and chief strategy officer of Crawford. “Even before the unexpected events of 2020, our team has consistently demonstrated courage when faced with challenges, and we are proud to build upon that foundation for our next decade with our new name.”

Crawford is also deeply committed to giving back to the Upstate community and creating opportunities for students interested in the communications field. As part of this, the team has recently established the Courage in Communications Annual Scholarship at University of South Carolina – Upstate. The scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student representing a minority group that is pursuing a degree in marketing or communications at the university. This scholarship joins other gifts the company has made to support students of communications at Southern Wesleyan University and Greenville Technical College.

“We owe our success to the wonderful clients, partners, and team members that have been with us on this courageous journey over the past 10 years,” added Crawford. “We look forward to more joining us as we enter this next chapter.”
