Crawford, a full-service marketing and branding agency, has been named one of the 20 fastest-growing small businesses in South Carolina for 2020 by SC Biz News. Each year, twenty large companies and 20 small companies are named to the statewide “Roaring 20s” list. This marks the first time Crawford has been featured on the list and it is also the only marketing firm to receive this distinction. The honor recognizes the state’s fastest-growing companies based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from 2018 to 2019.
“I’m inspired every day by the talent, determination, creativity, and flexibility of our team,” said Andy Windham, president and chief strategy officer of Crawford Strategy. “If I can credit our agency’s success to one thing, it is how much we truly care about our clients and their success. Our clients know that we are there for them, no matter what. In a day and time where nothing seems “normal,” we are proud to offer that next level of strategic thinking and creative support.”
Crawford celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2020, and the agency has expanded to include more than 30 talented individuals, including writers, graphic and web designers, digital strategists, media planners, account managers, and PR professionals, among others. The team is passionate about delivering results for its many wonderful clients. Crawford clients range from a Fortune 500 manufacturing company to a nationally recognized regional bank, renowned tourism destinations, and top-ranked higher education institutions.
“When I founded Crawford Strategy 10 years ago, our small-but-mighty team embraced a vision to be recognized among the top brand strategists in the Southeast,” said Marion Crawford, founder and CEO of Crawford Strategy. “Today, our agency is working alongside some of the finest companies and organizations in the world. We are proud of our growth and our success because it means we are delivering value for our clients. That will always be our number one priority and we are humbled to be recognized in this way.”
In order to qualify for the Roaring Twenties designation, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization. Company size was determined by gross revenue: a small company was considered as having $10 million and under in revenue. Large companies were classified as having over $10 million in revenue. Small companies must have had revenues of at least $500,000 each year for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. Profiles of the winning companies will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine. The winners will be honored with a virtual event on October 15th.
