Crawford Strategy Engages Three Students in Spring Internship Program

Crawford Strategy welcomes Anne Gaskins, Diana Davidson and Reed Piller as the agency’s 2018 spring interns. The students will work alongside Crawford Strategy employees to gain knowledge and experience about marketing, social media and public relations projects. Crawford Strategy offers year-round internship opportunities for college students and recent graduates.

“We are excited to have such a talented and enthusiastic group of students working with us this spring,” said Allison Mertens, senior vice president of corporate growth at Crawford Strategy. “We aim to involve our interns in several types of projects so that they can gain as much insight into the various aspects of marketing as possible. We look forward to working with and learning from our interns during their time here.”

Diana Davidson is a senior at Clemson University and is majoring in communications with a concentration in public relations and a minor in non-profit leadership. Prior to Crawford, the Atlanta native worked with Clemson’s IPTAY Donor Relations for the past two years and previously was a member of Clemson’s co-ed cheerleading team.
“I’m looking forward to interning at Crawford this semester,” said Davidson. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from the talented team and gain valuable experience before graduation in May.”

Reed Piller, a Greenville native and Clemson senior, is majoring in marketing with a minor in creative writing-fiction. In 2014, she published her first novel with Amazon’s Createspace. Since then, she has completed the second and is working on a third. Piller has previous marketing experience working with Learfield Sports and Clemson’s University Relations team.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to learn from a growing company like Crawford Strategy,” said Piller. “I love writing and marketing, and I am excited to learn what a career would look like that involves them both. I know my experiences at Crawford will be invaluable as I pursue my future career.”

Anne Gaskins, also a Clemson senior marketing major, is from Marietta, Georgia. She has previous marketing experience with Half Moon Outfitters and Post No Bills in Charleston. At Clemson, she has been a member of the Tiger Ties Mentorship program and served as a brand ambassador for Anheuser-Busch.

“I am so excited to learn from such a well-known company,” said Gaskins. “They have done amazing work, and I am eager to learn more about the creative process from the team.”
