Marion Crawford
CEO and Founder
Marion is the founder and CEO of Crawford and helps guide the agency’s strategic growth. She has more than 25 years of experience in the field of marketing and communications, particularly in the financial services, healthcare, and travel industry segments. Marion holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia (Wahoowa!), and serves on the Regional Selection Committee for UVA’s Jefferson Scholars Foundation, a group that awards full-ride scholarships to exceptional student leaders across the country. She is an active community member and has served on the boards of the Peace Center, Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Greenville Country Club, and is a past President of the Board of Artisphere, a nationally recognized visual arts festival. In 2013, she was also inducted into the Greenville Tech Entrepreneurs Forum.
Outside of work, Marion is passionate about exercise, books, writing, and staying actively involved in the growth of the Upstate. She is also currently working with her husband William to revitalize an 1850’s historic home and farm in Laurens, SC.

Coffee (but that is a necessity, isn’t it?).

Wife. Mom. Daughter. Sister. Life-lover!
Describe the state of your desk on any given day?
Piles of paper, stacks of folders, notebooks, a Crawford water bottle, and coffee. Always coffee.
What are your hobbies?
Planting a vegetable garden in the spring, reading books, exercising, enjoying good food and good drinks with good friends and family.

What is the most courageous thing you've ever done?
Toss up between becoming a mom, with the massive responsibility that motherhood entails, and bungee jumping in New Zealand when I was in my 20’s.
